Karachi, November 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez on being elected as the President of the Socialist International. The Socialist International is a 71-year-old global organization of political parties, mostly based on socialist and labour organizations, with 119 political parties and 13 affiliated organizations as members.
Earlier, Pakistan People’s Party leader, Federal Minister for Anti-Poverty and Social Security and Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Shazia Murri has also been elected as the Vice President of Socialist International Women from the Asia Pacific Region.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party has always struggled for the restoration and stability of democracy. He said that the election of Pedro Sanchez as President will further strengthen the democratic values and socialist vision in the world. He further said that Pakistan People’s Party as Pakistan.
