Karachi, October 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated those celebrating Diwali around the world including the Hindu community of Pakistan and expressed his best wishes for them. According to a statement issued by media cell Bilawal Hawass, the PPP chairman said that the festival of Diwali symbolizes the victory of good over evil in the society. He said that no matter how powerful a lie may be temporarily, it is destined to be defeated by the truth.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Constitution of 1973 guarantees equal rights and religious freedom to every citizen of the country. He said that Pakistan People’s Party is the representative party of all the minorities, which has never been a victim of expediency in regard to their rights. The foreign minister emphasized that everyone has to play their role to promote inter-religious harmony in the world, so that this planet becomes a cradle of peace and brotherhood.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated his commitment that Pakistan People’s Party will continue to protect the rights of minorities and in the light of the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and the vision of Quaid-i-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto, tolerance and The struggle for the establishment of an egalitarian society will continue.
