Bilawal Bhutto Pays Tribute to Shaheed Abdul Razzaque Jharna’s Courage and Sacrifice

Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, honored Shaheed Abdul Razzaque Jharna, a party stalwart known for his extraordinary bravery and unwavering spirit in the face of dictatorship.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman Bhutto Zardari commemorated the execution of Shaheed Jharna on May 7, 1984, during the dictatorship of Zia in Lahore. Jharna is remembered for his dramatic and defiant last moments, where he danced to the gallows, willingly placed the noose around his neck, and chanted ‘Jeay Bhutto’ as a final act of resistance.

Chairman Bhutto Zardari’s message emphasized that Shaheed Jharna exemplified the core values of the PPP democracy, equality, and social justice. He highlighted that Jharna’s sacrifice is a poignant reminder of the numerous individuals who have given their lives for democracy and the rights of the people in Pakistan.

The Chairman expressed his hope that the legacy of Shaheed Abdul Razzaque Jharna will continue to inspire the party and the nation towards a more just and equitable future.
