Balochistan Education Endowment Fund Delegation Visits IIUI for Scholarship Scheme Orientation

Islamabad, A team from the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) led a visit to the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), aiming to introduce the new “Out of Province Scholarship” scheme to students from Balochistan. The delegation, headed by Mr. Mohsin Qadeer, Team Leader of the Scholarship Scheme, focused on policy development and understanding the needs of these students.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the visit was an essential step in facilitating educational opportunities for students from Balochistan. The delegation, which included Mr. Muhammad Awais Kasi, Program Specialist, Mr. Dawood Khan, Public Relations Executive, and Mr. Syed Israr, Assistant, met with IIUI’s acting president, Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman. During the meeting, Dr. Raheman expressed his appreciation for BEEF’s initiative and the efforts of IIUI’s UAFA office in supporting students in need.

The meeting also discussed the university’s transparent scholarship mechanisms and the importance of accommodating needy students based on merit. Ms. Nuzhat Zareen, Director of UAFA at IIUI, commended the efforts of the BEEF team in awarding scholarships and fostering a strong connection between BEEF and UAFA.

Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ahmed, Student Advisor (Male) at IIUI, briefed the delegation about the university’s offerings, including its infrastructure, faculties, and academic programs. He highlighted the significant enrollment of Balochistan students across various faculties, underscoring IIUI’s commitment to inclusive education.

This visit marks a significant collaboration between BEEF and IIUI, aiming to enhance educational access and opportunities for students from Balochistan, thereby contributing to the educational development of Pakistan.
