Approximately 1 in 4 Pakistanis (28%) believe that it is very likely something will happen to them along the way should they have to walk at night in their neighbourhood: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, September 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, nearly 1 in 4 Pakistanis (28%) believe that it is likely something will happen to them along the way should they have to walk at night in their neighbourhood.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “If someone in your neighbourhood has to walk a mile or two at night, how likely is it that something will happen to them along the way?” In response to this question, 28% said very likely, 33% said somewhat likely, 36% said somewhat unlikely and 3% did not know/did not respond.

Question: “If someone in your neighbourhood has to walk a mile or two at night, how likely is it that something will happen to them along the way?”
