Bahawalpur, July 22, 2023 (PPI-OT):Islamia University Bahawalpur has a special importance in the country because of its academic and research activities. Under the leadership of Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University, Bahawalpur, the Department of Religions, Scholars and Inter-Religious Harmony was established here with the aim of making the society a cradle of peace and harmony and preparing religious scholars who would become ambassadors of Islam’s message of peace in the world. In this regard, Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob and Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rehman, acting on the instructions of the Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Dr. Sujeela Kausar, Chairperson of the Department of Religions, Scholars and Interfaith Harmony and their team have organized an interfaith dialogue on Monday, July 24, 2023. It is known that on this occasion, along with prominent Muslim scholars and professors of universities and colleges of South Punjab, Christian and Hindu religious leaders and scholars of the region also attended. are participating.
