Lahore, September 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Qiraat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged 6th All Pakistan Qiraat and Naat competitions here in City Campus. A large number of students from 40 institutions all over the Pakistan were participated in these contests. Punjab University won the general trophy was the winner of this contest.

In Qiraat male contest, Faisal Bin Amjad (Punjab University) won 1st position, Khuzaima Shakir (Government Collage University Lahore) got 2nd while Inam-ul-Haq (University of Education) and Abdul Arslan (Superior University) both stood on 3rd position.

In Qiraat female contest, Hafiza Faiza Rasool (Punjab University) won 1st position, Khansa Faisal (University of Agriculture) got 2nd while Amna Amjad (Fatima Jinnah Medical University) stood on 3rd position.

In Naat male contest, Ali Nouman (UVAS) won first position; Ali Hussnain (Punjab University) got second position while Khizar Shah (University of Central Punjab) stood on third position.

In Naat female contest, Maiser Malik (University of Central Punjab) won first position; Aneela Randhawa (University of Agriculture) got second position while Zainab Khadim (Government Collage University Lahore) stood on third position.

Later, Vice-Chancellor University of Narowal/Principle KBCMA-CVAS Narowal Prof Dr Muhammad Younus Rana chaired the concluding ceremony and distributed trophies among the winners of the contests while Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Muhammad Azam, Senior Tutor UVAS Prof Dr Ali Raza Awan, Prof Dr Yasin Tipu, Dr Muhammad Asad Ali and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
