Islamabad, Ali Pervaiz, a Member of the National Assembly, was officially sworn in as Minister of State in a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday. The oath was administered by President Asif Ali Zardari, marking a significant step in Pervaiz’s political career following his recent electoral victory in Lahore.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the ceremony was attended by several high-profile officials including Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, along with other parliamentarians and distinguished guests from various sectors. Ali Pervaiz secured his ministerial position after winning the NA-119 Lahore constituency seat as a candidate from the Pakistan Muslim League-N in the recent by-elections.
