Chitral, December 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):All Afghan students studying at the University of Chitral have been awarded DAFI Scholarship through United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Pakistan first time in history. On this occasion, the Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahir Shah University of Chitral extended his greetings to the management of UNHCR, Pakistan for including the University of Chitral in its scholarship program for Afghan refugees.
He expressed his hopes that UNCHCR will continue to help the Afghan students of the University of Chitral in the future as well. He mentioned that this act of UNHCR will open doors of higher education for Afghan refugees living in Chitral and the surrounding.
