Bahawalpur, September 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Pakistan Engineering Council visited the Department of Civil Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The purpose of the visit was to promote cooperation and ensure high quality of engineering education.

The delegation inspected the laboratories and infrastructure in the Department of Civil Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Council members inspected the research and teaching facilities. The delegation also discussed the curriculum and research projects of the department with the faculty members and students.

Council members in a meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar and Dean Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad appreciated the modern equipment and resources available in the department, which facilitate modern research and teaching. The council appreciated the dedication of the faculty and students of the department. Dean Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr. Muhammad Amjad thanked the team of Pakistan Engineering Council for their arrival and support. Registrar Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil and Treasurer Abdul Sattar Zahoori were also present on this occasion.
