Turbat, The Institute of Balochi Language and Culture (IBLC) at the University of Turbat held its fourth Board of Studies meeting yesterday, focusing on enhancing its academic programs in alignment with national education standards.

According to University of Turbat, the meeting was led by Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor Baloch, Director of the IBLC and Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Languages. The agenda included a thorough review of the curriculum for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs in Balochi, aiming to align them with the Higher Education Commission’s undergraduate education policy. Dr. Zia Ur Rahman Baloch, Assistant Professor at Allama Iqbal Open University, contributed as an external expert via video link. The session underscored the Institute’s role in promoting the Balochi language and culture through rigorous research and market-relevant academic offerings.
