Faisalabad, The WINGS Society at the National Textile University hosted the “She Speaks” presentation contest on May 27, 2024, featuring dynamic discussions on critical issues affecting women today. Participants delved into topics such as breaking the glass ceiling, the evolution of women from survivors to thrivers, the true status of women in Islam, and education rights for women.

According to National Textile University, the event was adjudicated by Dr. Waseem Hassan, who recognized the insightful presentations of the participants. Noor Mustafa clinched first place with a prize of Rs 3000, followed by Hafiza Minahil in second place with Rs 2000, and Noor Khan Yasin in third, receiving Rs 1000. The awards were presented by Ms. Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, who praised the contestants for their compelling and thought-provoking entries.

The competition underscored the university’s commitment to fostering a dialogue on gender issues and supporting academic initiatives that highlight the challenges and achievements of women in various spheres of life.
