Jamshoro, The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad recently held an academic assessment for students at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, testing their information management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
According to University of Sindh, the test was conducted at the university’s Institute of Physics and Institute of Commerce and Management. Over 300 students from various programs participated in the assessment, which was designed to evaluate their cognitive abilities broadly rather than focusing on specific subjects. Dr. Altaf Nizamani, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell at the university, remarked on the importance of the test in developing critical student skills.
The initiative, led by Dr. Arshad Bashir, Consultant for the Higher Education Development Program, aims to improve educational standards across affiliated colleges. During his visit, Dr. Bashir and his team also met with Vice-Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, who lauded the HEC’s efforts to enhance the quality of education.
