Lahore, The Regional Integration Centre (RIC) at the University of the Punjab recently held a two-day workshop titled “Empowering Teachers and Researchers: AI Solutions from Classroom to Cutting Edge” on May 15 and 16, 2024. The event aimed to integrate Artificial Intelligence tools into academic research and teaching practices.
According to University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr. Fouzia Hadi Ali, Director of RIC, underscored the workshop’s role in establishing new standards for academic excellence and innovation. The session was marked by discussions on the ethical use of AI in research, featuring tools like Consensus, Sourcely, and Scispace among others. Dr. Rizwana Mustafa, a noted expert in AI tools, provided valuable insights and guidance, ensuring a productive experience for all attendees. The successful engagement has prompted plans for future events to further explore the integration of technology in academia.
