Punjab University and AGAHE Forge Partnership to Advance Community and Environmental Initiatives

Lahore, Punjab University’s Department of Social Work and the NGO AGAHE have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing community services, addressing climate change, and promoting research and entrepreneurship among other initiatives. The agreement was signed in a ceremony held in the committee room of the Vice Chancellor’s Office at Punjab University.

According to University of the Punjab, the MoU outlines a framework for collaboration between the university and AGAHE in various domains, including humanitarian response, food safety and security, nutrition, environmental protection, and internship programs. The partnership is designed to facilitate mutual learning and cooperative efforts, contributing to significant societal and environmental benefits.

The event was attended by PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Chairperson of the Department of Social Work Dr. Uzma Ashiq, Director of External Linkages Dr. Sobia Khurram, along with other senior faculty members and representatives from AGAHE. Both institutions have expressed their commitment to leveraging this partnership to foster practical learning opportunities for students and to jointly tackle pressing challenges facing the community and the environment.
