Karachi, At a recent meeting in Karachi, Senior Leader of the Pasban Democratic Party, Mian Riaz Mohammad, reinforced the party’s commitment to supporting the oppressed and improving local governance. The event marked the joining of new members from Sher Muhammad Village, highlighting Pasban’s ongoing efforts to address local grievances and foster community solidarity against oppression.
According to Pasban Democratic Party, Mian Riaz Mohammad outlined the party’s dedication to educational advancement, local government reform, women’s rights, and freedom rights. He emphasized the party’s history of activism, which includes ending road closures, double riding bans, returning bribes, and resolving various community issues such as water supply, sewage, and health services. These actions underscore Pasban’s role in advocating for the community’s basic rights.
The meeting also served as a platform for discussing the immediate needs of Sher Muhammad Village, which suffers from inadequate infrastructure and public services. The leaders pointed out that the lack of non-political and local officers in local institutions hampers problem-solving and contributes to corruption and favoritism. They advocated for practical service from UC and town administrators, beyond mere political maneuvering.
New members from the village expressed their support for the party’s mission and committed to joining Pasban’s fight for their rights.
