Haripur, The Department of Microbiology and Faculty of Biological and Biomedical Sciences at The University of Haripur organized a seminar titled “Frontiers in Biomedical Sciences” on Thursday, to honor the memory of the late Dr. Amir Ali Khattak. The event featured distinguished speakers from Pakistan’s health and nuclear sectors and drew a significant attendance from faculty, students, and staff.
According to The University of Haripur, the seminar included lectures by Dr. Malik Anayatullah from the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority and Dr. Tanveer Ibrahim from the National Institute of Health Islamabad. These talks highlighted recent advancements and ongoing challenges in biomedical sciences. Prof. Shafiq ur Rehman, Vice Chancellor of The University of Haripur, addressed the attendees, and Dr. Abdul Muhaimin led a prayer session for Dr. Khattak, wishing him a higher rank in Jannat-e-Firdos.
The seminar served as both a platform for professional development and a tribute to Dr. Khattak’s contributions to the field, reflecting the community’s respect and remembrance of his legacy.
