UVAS Concludes 2nd Business Plan Competition with Cash Prizes Awarded

Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore successfully conducted the finale of its 2nd Business Plan Competition Drive, Phase-II, hosted by the Directorate of Business Incubation Center. The event saw participation from 10 teams across various campuses, presenting innovative business plans in a competitive setting.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the competition highlighted projects from different teams, aiming to foster entrepreneurial skills among students. The P and P Stitching team from the Jhang Campus clinched the first position, securing a cash prize of 50,000 PKR. The SKZ Creativity team from the City Campus followed in second place with a prize of 40,000 PKR, and the Veterinary Toxicology Kit team from KBCMA-CVAS, Narowal, rounded out the top three, winning 30,000 PKR.

The event was presided over by Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, who distributed the awards. The ceremony was attended by Qasim Hussain, Deputy Director of BIC, Assistant Director of BIC, faculty members, and a significant number of students, all of whom witnessed the culmination of this innovative academic challenge.

The competition aims to enhance business acumen, provide learning opportunities from expert panelists, and stimulate entrepreneurial ambitions among the students, preparing them for future entrepreneurial endeavors.
