Karachi, The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is set to host two significant events on Thursday, February 29, 2024, spotlighting the rich cultural tapestry and theatrical talent within the city. A special ceremony to honor Alhaj Siddiq Ismail’s 63-year contribution to Madhat Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is scheduled, alongside a press conference for the theater play “Hotel Jaan-e Jaan.”
According to Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the recognition ceremony for Alhaj Siddiq Ismail will take place at 6:30 pm at Jun Elia Lawn, featuring Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tesori as the chief guest. The event will also see the participation of notable religious, social, and television personalities, including Sana Khan, celebrating Ismail’s longstanding dedication to spiritual music.
Earlier in the day, at 1 pm, a press conference will be held at Hasina Moin Hall, located on the first floor of the Ahmed Shah Building, Arts Council. This event, organized in collaboration with Stage Bigs Production and Incorporate Digital, aims to introduce “Hotel Jaan-e Jaan” to the media and public. Muhammad Ahmad Shah, the president of the Arts Council, will address the conference alongside renowned actor Yasir Hussain and Umar Alam. Theater producer Rahim Bukhari and director Farhan Alam are also slated to provide insights into the upcoming theatrical production.
