PPP Leaders Condemn Terrorist Attack in Kohat, Call for Stronger Anti-Terrorism Measures

Islamabad, Leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), including former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on a police check post and toll plaza in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which resulted in the martyrdom of three policemen and a toll plaza employee.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, both leaders emphasized the importance of implementing the National Action Plan to eliminate terrorism effectively. They expressed their view that the perpetrators of such acts are unpardonable and asserted that the sacrifice of the martyred will not be forgotten. President Zardari and Chairman Bilawal extended their sympathies to the families of the victims, highlighting the party’s stance against terrorism and their commitment to supporting the bereaved families.

This attack in Kohat has brought the issue of terrorism and security in Pakistan to the forefront, with the PPP leadership calling for a renewed focus on counter-terrorism strategies to ensure the safety and security of citizens and law enforcement personnel.
