Lahore, The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore’s Department of Product and Industrial Design recently held a guest lecture focusing on Aerodynamic Design and the exploration of future study opportunities in design engineering. The event featured Mr. Waqar Jamil, a distinguished alumnus of the 2015 session, who shared his expertise and experiences in the field of design prototyping.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Jamil’s presentation included a video showcasing the evolution of various products from their initial stages to low-cost finished pieces, particularly those used for defense purposes. His session was aimed at giving students insights into the practical aspects of design prototyping and its relevance in today’s design landscape. He emphasized the importance of hands-on experience in prototyping techniques and their crucial role in the field of design engineering.

Furthermore, Mr. Jamil engaged in a discussion with students about the current job market for Design Engineers, encouraging them to consider pursuing higher education in Design Engineering. This advice comes at a time when the demand for skilled professionals in design and engineering is on the rise, highlighting the importance of academic and practical skills in this evolving sector.
