Lahore, The Lahore School of Economics triumphed at the LUMS Sports Festival (LSF), securing the Overall Best Delegation, Best Delegation Girls, and Best Delegation Boys trophies. The prestigious sports event, held from January 1 to 4, 2024, saw a wide participation from universities, colleges, and private clubs across Pakistan.

According to Lahore School of Economics, their teams excelled in various sports categories, showcasing remarkable talent and competitiveness. The results included gold in Basketball (Girls), Badminton Male Doubles (2 Golds), Badminton Mix Doubles, Futsal (Girls and Boys), Squash (Female), Table Tennis Mixed Doubles, Female Swimming (5 Golds), and Volleyball (Female). The school also earned silver in Basketball (Boys), Badminton Male Doubles (2 Silvers), Cricket (Boys), Tennis (Female), Swimming Male (4 Silvers), Volleyball (Male), and Squash (Female).

Turbat, The University of Turbat has announced the commencement of its spring semester for 2024, starting January 15. This marks the beginning of academic activities for both new and returning students across various undergraduate and graduate programs.

According to University of Turbat, the university has instructed all students enrolled in the new intake for the session 2024, including those in undergraduate programs such as BS, B.Ed. Honors, and LLB, along with students from previous batches of both undergraduate and graduate programs, to ensure their attendance starting from January 15, 2024.

The announcement also specified that all teachers are expected to resume their duties from January 8, 2024, in preparation for the upcoming semester.
