Karachi, The Debating Society of Virtual University (VU) has officially announced the opening of registrations for the regional round of the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Pakistan Universities Debating Championship for the year 2023-24. This event presents a significant opportunity for students proficient in parliamentary debates to showcase their skills on a national platform.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, a Federal Government University, aspiring debaters are invited to submit a 1-minute video demonstration of their debating abilities. The submission process requires two separate contact numbers based on the language of the debate: one for Urdu and another for English demonstrations. Participants are required to include their name, roll number, contact details, degree name, year of study, and city name in their submission by December 18th, 2023, at 11 am.

In addition to the championship, students interested in joining the VU Debating Society or participating in its upcoming events can register through a provided Google form by December 23rd, 2023, at 11 am. The link for this registration has been made available to potential participants.
