Balochistan, The University of Turbat (UoT) successfully held the admission test for its B.Ed. (Hons) program on Sunday, December 17, 2023, in anticipation of the spring 2024 session. The Education Testing Council (ETC) of the Higher Education Commission administered the test at the Law Faculty, City Campus of UoT.
According to University of Turbat, over 300 applications were received for the B.Ed. (Hons) program at UoT’s Education Department. Notably, half of these applicants were female. ETC officials announced that the answer keys for the test would be available on the ETC website within 48 to 72 hours, and the results are expected to be declared within a week.
The entry test arrangements were closely monitored by several UoT officials. UoT’s Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, Dr. Abdul Majid Nasir, the Controller of Examinations, Mr. Manzoor Ahmed, the Chairperson of the Education Department, faculty member Ms. Ruqia Meerwani, and other UoT staff visited the test centers to assess the conduct of the examination.
The B.Ed. (Hons) program at UoT has been attracting a significant number of applicants, reflecting the growing interest in educational qualifications among the region’s youth. The quick turnaround time for the release of results and answer keys demonstrates the efficiency of the ETC and the university in managing the admissions process.
