Survey Reveals Confusion Among Pakistanis About Contagiousness of Pink Eye Virus

Islamabad, A recent survey by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan has highlighted a significant gap in public awareness regarding the contagious nature of the Pink Eye Virus in Pakistan.

According to Gallup Pakistan survey, 16% of Pakistanis do not believe the Pink Eye Virus is contagious, while an additional 8% are unsure about its nature. The survey included a cross-section of adult men and women from across the country, where 76% correctly identified the virus as contagious, indicating that it can spread from one person to another.

These statistics come from a nationally representative sample that responded to the specific question about the contagion of the eye disease outbreak.
