Bahawalpur, September 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): In the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, there is constant communication between teachers and parents for the academic performance, curricular and co-curricular activities and character building of the students. The relationship of trust between teachers and parents is flourishing and getting stronger year by year. A delegation of parents expressed these views during a visit to the Department of Physical Therapy in a meeting with Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Chairman Department of Physical Therapy.

Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani said that according to the vision of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, parent-teacher meetings have been organized recently in all departments to promote a positive and constructive dialogue. The university was informed about the strategy to deal with the challenges and to increase the character building of the students. This activity will make parents aware of all the affairs of the university and they will help in ensuring the participation of students in the curricular and co-curricular activities of the university with more confidence than before.

The parents appreciated the initiatives taken by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for the university and discussed various suggestions for the academic and professional development of the students and to become better professionals and responsible citizens in the future.
