Swabi, September 07, 2023 (PPI-OT): GIK Institute actively took part in the 3rd China Pakistan Technology Transfer Workshop, held in Kunming, China, from August 16th to 18th, 2023. The forum garnered the participation of numerous individuals from Pakistan and China, representing various sectors including industry, government, and academia. Leading the Pakistani delegation in his domain, Prof. Dr. Zahid Halim from GIK highlighted Pakistani expertise and projects in Computing and Artificial Intelligence.

This event is poised to create a range of business prospects and collaborative ventures between these two amicable nations. Notably, the Ambassador of Pakistan to China, His Excellency Mr. Moin-ul-Haque, was also present at the event, during which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to establish a Technology Transfer Centre in Pakistan.
