Chitral, August 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Youth Empowerment Club University of Chitral in collaboration with the Tehsil Municipal Office and District Administration Lower Chitral organized a second session under “Pathway to Triumph: Weekly Discussions on CSS/PMS Preparation” at Municipal Library Chitral. Dr Atif Jalib (PAS, 47th CTP) Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Chitral was the guest speaker. The agenda of the session included: an overview of CSS Essay Writing requirements, understanding essay structure and components, analysing past CSS essay papers, tips for improving writing skills and grasping the mind-set of examiners/evaluators.
The session commenced with an introduction to the importance of essay writing in the CSS examination, emphasizing its role in assessing candidates’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and writing abilities. The facilitator presented an overview of the CSS essay criteria and highlighted vital aspects, such as exposition, argumentation, description, narration, and the viewpoint of examiners/evaluators.
Moreover, motivation for attempting the competitive exams was also provided to the aspirants. Following the lecture’s conclusion, a question and answering session was held where participants’ queries were answered.
