Islamabad, August 03, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, almost a quarter (22%) Pakistanis move away from their permanent living areas to other parts of the country during Eid.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Where did you celebrate Eid this year?” In response, 77% said in the same city where they live, 3% said in another city, 19% said in their ancestral village, and 1% said that they don’t know or gave no response.
