64% Pakistanis at the end of 2022 expected their household savings to decrease in the next six months: Consumer Confidence Index Q4 2022 by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet Pakistan

Islamabad, July 27, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet Pakistan, 64% Pakistanis at the end of 2022 expected their household savings to decrease in the next six months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Do you expect your household savings to increase, decrease or remain the same in next 6 months?” In response, 2% said they will be a lot better, 12% said they will be better, 16% said there will be no change, 25% said they will be worse, 39% said they will be a lot worse and 6% said they do not know.
