Islamabad, August 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 9% complain that they had health issues related to over eating during this Eid al-Adha.
A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Some people suffer issues such as heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion, stomachache, and discomfort or diarrhea due to overeating or consuming spicy or excessive meat dishes during Eid. Please tell me if you also experience any of these physical issues during Eid?” In response, 9% said yes, 90% said no, and 1% said that they don’t know or gave no response.
