9 out of 10 (87%) Pakistanis say sacrificial animals this year were more expensive than last year: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, August 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 9 out of 10 (87%) Pakistanis said sacrificial animals this year were more expensive than last year.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “In your opinion, were the sacrificial animals this year more expensive, cheaper, or similarly priced compared to last year?” In response, 87% said more expensive, 3% said cheaper, 5% said no difference, and 5% said that they don’t know or gave no response.
