50% Pakistanis were aware of the recent incident in Battagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 8 individuals were trapped in a chairlift: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, September 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 50% Pakistanis were aware of the recent incident in Battagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 8 individuals were trapped in a chairlift.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the question “Recently, in the city of Battagram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 8 individuals were trapped in a chairlift. Ultimately, with the help of Pakistan Army soldiers and local people, they were rescued through a risky operation. Have you heard/read about this incident?” In response, 50% said yes, 49% said no and 1% said that they do not know or gave no response.

Question: “Recently, in the city of Battagram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 8 individuals were trapped in a chairlift. Ultimately, with the help of Pakistan Army soldiers and local people, they were rescued through a risky operation. Have you heard/read about this incident?”
