4 in 10 Pakistanis believe that Shahbaz Sharif was correct when he stated that if he had formulated the right strategy before the 2018 elections, Nawaz Sharif would have been the Prime Minister of Pakistan: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, September 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 10 Pakistanis believe that Shahbaz Sharif was correct when he stated that if he had formulated the right strategy before the 2018 elections, Nawaz Sharif would have been the Prime Minister of Pakistan while 27% believe his statement is incorrect.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Recently, PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif has stated that if he had formulated the right strategy before the 2018 elections, Nawaz Sharif would have been the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Some people think that this statement of Shahbaz Sharif is correct, while some people think that this statement of Shahbaz Sharif is wrong. What is your opinion about it?” In response to this question, 40% said his statement was correct while 27% said it was wrong. Another 27% did not know and 6% did not respond.

Question: “Recently, PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif has stated that if he had formulated the right strategy before the 2018 elections, Nawaz Sharif would have been the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Some people think that this statement of Shahbaz Sharif is correct, while some people think that this statement of Shahbaz Sharif is wrong. What is your opinion about it?”
