MoU Signing Ceremony with Pakistan Society for Training and Development

Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD) and DHA SUFFA University (DSU). The MoU aims to fortify corporate linkages with the scholarly world industry and to achieve both the expert and academic improvement of understudies with an exceptional spotlight on upscaling delicate abilities, IT abilities, and computerized abilities, through the plan of workshops, courses, training, and comparable occasions that give them openness, helpful learning, a continuous understanding into the business, and the opportunity to collaborate with and gain from industry specialists.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mohsin Ahmad Bhatti, Head of Digital and New Initiatives, PSTD, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DSU. On this occasion Ms. Tehseen Azhar, Director of Alumni Relations and Ms. Farah Fazli, Head of Marketing, PSTD were also present.

“Present IELTS” Roadshow

Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):“Present IELTS” Roadshow – Stage 1 was organized by ILO, Mechanical Engineering Department for Final Semester Students on 20th March 2023. The session was conducted by IELTS staff member, Mr. Muhammad Sufyan. He gave the presentation about IDP and IELTS, IDP’s history, an overview of IELTS, and FAQs followed by Q and A session and tips on passing the IELTS exam with flying colours.

PNEC students win gold medal for revolutionary Smart Transformer Health Monitoring System at IEEEP Symposium

Pharma Spark Society Held Bilingual Essay and Debate Competition

Islamabad, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):The event was hosted by Nooran-ul-ain and Arshi Noor from 6th semester, faculty of Pharmacy. It started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mr. Mehmood Moin-ul-Haq from 8th semester. Welcome notes and significance of the event was presented, followed by introduction to the jury panel that consisted of Mr. Mateen Abbas, Mr. Mohammad Nauman and Ms. Asma Qandeel. Before commencement of the contest, all the participants were enlightened with the rules and regulations, both for the essay and debate competitions. Essay participants were provided with the sheets and a time limit of 60 minutes. On the other side, the hall was echoing with the astounding words of the debate participants. While the judges were compiling the results, the participants were entertained with the illuminating video on Women Empowerment.

All the judges were invited to present their humble views while the result was announced by Mr. Mateen abbas. M. Mohtashim from batch 213 stood 1st in the debate competition, while, Muneeba Sehar from batch 203 won 1st position in essay writing contest. Both were presented with the shields and certificates. 2nd and 3rd position holders of both the essay and debate competitions were also given respective certificates. In the end, efforts of all the participants were acknowledge and gratitude was presented to judges for sharing their time and expertise.

Opening Ceremony of Tajweed Ul Quran Course held at Female Campus

Islamabad, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):The opening Ceremony of Tajweed ul Quran course for the spring 2023 organized by Faculty of Arabic was held at Female Campus. In this course, “Rules of Tajweed” will be taught by Prof. Dr. Sawsan Hasanin, while Focal Person of this course is Dr Ammara Gulzar. Prof.Dr. Fazlullah, Dean Faculty of Arabic spoke on the virtues of reciting Quran, as well as he thanked to Prof. Dr. Sawsan for organizing such a great and unique course for students and wished for successful ending.

Dr. Samia Nazish, Incharge Arabic Faculty formally welcomed all the guests. In her address, she briefed about the importance of course and its aims. She thanked Dr. Sawsan for her great efforts and keen interest to conduct this course, and all the invited guests and participants for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence. Earlier, Prof. Dr. Sawsan Hassanein, gave brief introduction to the participants regarding Tajweed ul Quran and its rules. She apprised the audience about the methods of recitation saying: “Tarteel is the authentic way of recitation and pronunciation of Quran”. This ceremony was attended by many students of various departments with excitement and happiness.

Pharma Spark Society Held Awareness Seminar on Treatment and Awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Islamabad, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Seminar initiated at 2:20 pm, starting with the Name of Allah, Mr. Zohaib recited a few verses of the Holy Quran. On this occasion, Respected Faculty Members, Madam Nitasha Gohar, Madam Nadia Shamshad Malik, Mr. Mahboob Alam, Mr Asif Safdar, Mr. Farhan, and the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr Muzaffar Abbas were present. After Recitation of the Holy Quran, Mr Muhammad Yasir Khan (Chairman of Strive Trust) was invited to speak a few sacred words and enlighten our minds with some interesting world knowledge.

Then, Mr. Muzaffar Abbas was invited who thank Mr. Muhammad Yasir and everyone including all the students, Faculty Members, Volunteers from Strive Trust, and Mr. Muhammad Yasir Khan. Dr. Muzaffar Abbas also presented Shield to Mr. Muhammad Yasir Khan acknowledging his efforts and volunteers of Strive Trust.
