PPP KP delegation called on Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari 

Islamabad, November 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met a delegation of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial leadership. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the delegation discussed the political situation and the issues of local body elections.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by the PPP KP leadership on the details of the public gatherings to be held on November 19 in Nowshera and November 30 in Peshawar. The administration has not given permission for the gathering in Peshawar. Obstacles are being raised regarding the public gathering in Nowshera. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is trying to block our Jalsa, said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that these jalsa will be held in Peshawar and Nowshera in any case.

If ruling party public gatherings can be held in KP, then why can’t PPP hold public gatherings, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked. If attempts were made to harass the people under the guise of banning rallies, then there will be Dama Dam Mast Qalandar, Chair PPP said. Chair PPP directed the leadership of PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to intensify the public contacts campaign with regard to local body elections.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was accompanied by Farhatullah Babar and Faisal Karim Kundi in the meeting held at Zardari House. The PPP KP delegation was comprised of Najamuddin Khan, Shuja Khan, Amjad Afridi, Syed Ayub Shah, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Shoaib Ali Khan, Malik Tahmash Khan, Malik Saeed, Saleem Khan Chitrali, Syed Tahir Abbas, Sartaj Khan Douran, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Gohar Ali Inqalabi, Farzand Ali Wazir, Naeem Khan and Asma Arbab Alamgir.

Participate in La Trobe University – Technology Infusion Grand Challenge 

Lahore, November 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):International Education Office is delighted to inform you that entries for La Trobe University – Technology Infusion Grand Challenge is open from Monday 15th November 2021 to an annual innovation competition for students called The Technology Infusion Grand Challenge.

This competition is open to students in their final two years of undergraduate studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and/or Business Studies. This competition provides a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and gain exposure on the global stage. Taking part in the competition is free of charge and selected student teams could also receive an investment of up to $1000 to develop their prototype. If appropriate, the project entry could also be part of student academic work for example a major or final year team project.

The winner of the competition will be awarded an all-expense-paid mentorship stay in Melbourne to work at the Centre for Technology Infusion, La Trobe Accelerator Program, La Trobe School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and the La Trobe Business School.

Workshop on Dressing Etiquette 

Karachi, November 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):A Workshop on “Dressing Etiquette” was organized by EMEC, IoBM on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Mr. Hamid Saeed was the trainer. He is an international image and wardrobe consultant. He has over two decades of experience in helping professional men and women project the right image for their profession. Mr. Hamid Saeed has dressed hundreds of top executives of Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, and politicians in the USA. Mr. Hamid Saeed is also a corporate trainer who has conducted training on ‘Dress for Success’ for Pakistan Civil Service Academy, Punjab Judicial Academy, LUMS Executive Program, State Life Insurance, Jubilee Insurance, ICAP, ICMA, and many colleagues and universities.

During his training, he shared the 5 Ps of dressing which are: Pigmentation, Physique, Personality, Position, and Profession. He said that your wardrobe speaks for you before you utter a single word. He added that our clothing must be according to our profession and not to our fashion. Mr. Hamid mentioned three colours to be worn more often: White, Black, and shades of blue. Mr. Hamid emphasized that dressing is about giving respect and wearing solid colours. The workshop proved was beneficial for the participants as they learned practical insights on how to present themselves during formal and semi-formal settings.

Study Spring Semester 2022 at Yasar University, Turkey

Lahore, November 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):International Education Office – IEO is pleased to inform you that Yasar University, Turkey is offering a one-semester exchange opportunity to the FCCU undergraduate students without International Tuition Fee. Application Deadline for Spring Semester 2022 is Friday – November 26th, 2021.

Semester period: February 2022 – June 2022

Requirements:

CGPA must be 2.7 or above.

Students should have a minimum of 30 credit hours on their transcript before they can be eligible for the dates of the program they apply to.
