Merit List for Reserved Seats – Undergraduate Programs 

Lahore, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):Fee Challan form will be issued from the Fee office. Fee must be deposited in the Bank of Punjab located in college campus from November 01, 2021 to November 04, 2021 (10:00 am to 02:00 pm). The last date to submit dues for selected applicants is November 04, 2021.

Candidates who fail to deposit their dues within the due date will forfeit their right to admission. Click on the program name to view the complete list of selected applicants.

All students are required to bring their original educational documents (intermediate and matric results) for verification before fee deposit. Applicants selected for BA LLB must bring LAT test score card as well. Fee challan form will not be issued without educational document verification.

New Updated Notice for Candidates Admissions Fall 2021 (New Intake) 

Rawalpindi, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):Candidates of Bachelors Program who have qualified for the 4th Merit Lists can deposit their fee on November 04-05, 2021 (from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm) in the University. They have to bring all their original documents (Mark Sheets/Test Results) with them for verification.

5th Merit List (subject to the availability of seats) of Bachelors Regular Program will be displayed on November 8, 2021.

Candidates of Bachelors Self Support Program who have qualified for the 1st Merit Lists can deposit their fee on November 01-04, 2021 (from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm) in the University. They have to bring all their original documents (Mark Sheets/Test Results) with them for verification.

2nd Merit List of Bachelors Self Support Program will be displayed on November 5, 2021.

2nd Merit List of MS/M.Phil. /Ph.D. Program will be displayed on November 4, 2021.

Candidates of MS/M.Phil. /Ph.D. Program qualifying for the 2nd Merit Lists can deposit their fee on November 04-05, 2021 (from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm) in the University.

All candidates must have the exact amount of fee dues as provided on FJWU website in order to avoid any inconvenience and unnecessary delays in payment procedure.

Classes / Semester for all Degree programs is scheduled to commence form November 8, 2021.

Student Achievement: IBA student selected as a Student Ambassador for Microsoft Learn and Tableau 

Karachi, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):Zarmeen Lakhani, a Business Administration student (BBA-7), is selected as a Student Ambassador for Microsoft Learn and Tableau. Recently, she also won the CCIT hackathon organized by Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), where her project was adjudged first and the team won a $200 cash prize. The team is in process of receiving additional funding of $2000 for an idea.

Dr. Nouman Khalid Ranked Among the Top 2 Percent Scientists of the World 

Lahore, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):Dr. Nouman Khalid is the Director at School of Food and Agricultural Sciences (SFAS) at UMT. He is a HEC approved supervisor in the field of agriculture and food technology. He has extensive experience in formulating new emulsifiers, extraction of surface-active molecules and encapsulation of highly volatile bioactive compounds. He also works on food safety and has excellent expertise in food safety and quality management systems. He published over 150 articles in highly impacted research Journals with over 100 published.

Recently, in a new study led by scientists from Stanford University published a comprehensive list that identified the top 2% scientists worldwide. The name of Dr. Nouman Khalid was included in the list. This database included the top 2 percent of scientists of the world from different fields on the basis of standardized citation indications. It included information on the number of citations, H-Index, co-authorship, and a composite indicator.

Stanford University published two types of ranking lists:

1) List of scientists who are ranked from 1995 to present

2) List of current year’s scientists

We congratulate Dr. Nouman Khalid for being ranked among the top scientists of the world.

SADA Alumna Saira Rana wins IAP Graduate Award 2020-21 for her project, “Imarah: A Permaculture Research and Vocational Center for Regeneration of Rural Patterns” 

Islamabad, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):NUST is pleased to announce that Saira Rana, an alumna from School of Art Design and Architecture (SADA), Class of 2015, has won Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP) Graduate Award 2020-21 for her project thesis titled “Imarah: A Permaculture Research and Vocational Center for Regeneration of Rural Patterns.”

Her project focuses on regenerating the patterns of traditional rural practices in order to cultivate a resilient rural community by adapting the Permaculture design model. The jury of IAP Graduate Award also recommended Yusra Ayyaz from SADA among the honourable mentions for the Graduate Award. The NUST family is proud of Saira Rana for this outstanding achievement.
