Neonatal Health Growth and Development

Faisalabad, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):Improving the well-being of infants and children is an important public health goal. In this regard Department of Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences, The University of Faisalabad arranged a seminar focusing on a very crucial topic of infants entitled ‘Neonatal Health, Growth and Development’ on 24th September 2021. The Speaker of the seminar was Professor Dr Aisha Sajid, HOD Pediatrics in Madina Teaching Hospital, Faisalabad.

Faisalabad, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):Masood Roomi Group Multan visited NTU for campus recruitment drive of fresh graduates of batch 2017-2021 of disciplines BS Textile Engineering (Spinning, Weaving and Processing), BS Textile Engineering and Technology, BS Textile and Apparel Merchandising, BS Textile Management and Marketing on Monday 28, June 2021. Successful candidates of written test were called for interviews on 29, June 2021. Mr. Mirza Mahmood Akhtar (Dy. Director Job Placement) and Advisor Students Office team assisted the Masood Roomi team during this drive.

Faisalabad, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):Ibrahim Fibers Ltd visited NTU for campus recruitment drive of fresh graduates of batch 2017-2021 of disciplines BS Textile Engineering (Spinning, Weaving, Processing, Knitting, Garment Manufacturing), BS Polymer Engineering and BS Textile Technology on Monday 12th, July 2021 for written test. Shortlisted candidates of test from all disciplines appeared for interviews on the same day. Mr. Mirza Mahmood Akhtar (Dy. Director Job Placement) with Advisor Students Office assisted the IFL HR team during test and interview.

NTU-Amami Clothing MoU

Faisalabad, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):A team from Amami Clothing (Pvt.) LTD. Faisalabad a leading Intimate Apparels Company consisting of Mr. Asmat Wazir (Chief Operating Officer), Mr. Qamar Zaman (DGM operation) and Mr. Moragoda Arachchige Sunil (Head of technical development and Quality), visited research facilities at National Textile University, Faisalabad on 25.08.2021 (Wednesday).

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Amami Clothing (Pvt.) Ltd. Faisalabad and National Textile University, Faisalabad. The parties agreed to promote industry-academia collaboration through joint research and development activities of mutual interest in accordance with their respective needs and objectives. Amami Clothing (Pvt.) Ltd. Faisalabad also agreed to facilitate NTU students in internships, jobs and related opportunities. Dr. Munir Ashraf (Chairman Textile Engineering Department), Dr. Aqsa Imran (Coordinator Garment Manufacturing Section) and Mr. Mirza Mahmood Akhtar (Deputy Director Job Placement and Career Counselling Cell) hosted and facilitated the team members of Amami Clothing (Pvt) Ltd Faisalabad.
