PUOWA Announces Winners of Umrah Lucky Draw; Four Officers Selected

LAHORE: The Punjab University Officers Welfare Association (PUOWA) held its annual lucky draw for Umrah tickets on Tuesday, with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali announcing the four officers who emerged successful. The officers awarded the Umrah tickets were Estate Officer Muhammad Mujahid Chaudhry, Assistant Registrar Computer Tahir Bilal, Admin Officer Allah Ditta, and Lab Engineer Nosheen Maryam Awan.

According to University of the Punjab, the draw was conducted in the presence of key university officials, including Registrar Dr. Ahmad Islam, Treasurer Tasneem Kamran, and PUOWA President Dr. Toqeer Ali, among others. Traditionally, PUOWA has provided two Umrah tickets each year through this draw. However, this year, under the guidance of VC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, the number of tickets was increased to four. The initiative was met with appreciation from the officers, who acknowledged the efforts of the Vice Chancellor and the Association.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali congratulated the successful officers and emphasized the importance of maintaining this initiative for the welfare and morale of university officers. He expressed hope that such traditions would continue in the coming years.
