PTI Official Criticizes PPP and MQM Alliance, Calls it a Threat to Karachi’s Future

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arsalan Khalid has issued a strong response to recent statements made by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), criticizing both parties for their alleged detrimental alliance. According to a press release from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khalid described the collaboration between PPP and MQM as a deliberate strategy to exploit Karachi's resources, claiming that both parties are compromising the city's rights for personal gain.

Leveling allegations against the two parties, Khalid accused one of causing harm to the province while the other pursues a divisive agenda along ethnic lines. He labeled the PPP-MQM alliance as a threat to the youth of Karachi. Khalid dismissed the parties' claims as attempts to mask corruption and incompetence, asserting that PTI will not permit these parties to undermine Karachi's rights.

Khalid further criticized the PPP and MQM for their alleged betrayal of middle-class values and accused them of partnering with feudal interests. He condemned the perceived inaction of the Sindh government and MQM's opportunism, which he claims have left Karachi neglected. Khalid reaffirmed PTI's commitment to opposing what he termed the oppressive tactics of PPP and MQM, stating that the citizens of Karachi have rejected their political approach and are ready to end the economic and political exploitation by these factions.
