Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji. According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the President conveyed his condolences, emphasizing the loss of a significant ally in Zhu Rongji.

"We extend our heartfelt condolences to the leadership and people of our Iron Brother on the passing of Premier Zhu Rongji. Pakistan has lost one of its good friends today," President Zardari remarked. He further noted the profound impact of Zhu Rongji's contributions to the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.

President Zardari also offered sympathies to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with President Xi Jinping and the people of China during this period of mourning.
