Islamabad, August 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, while 59% of married Pakistanis had met their spouse before marriage, 40% had previously not met.

A nationally representative sample of married adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Did you meet the person you were getting married to before the marriage?” In response, 59% said yes, 40% said no, and 1% gave no response.
