Lahore, August 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Virtual University of Pakistan – Sialkot Campus organized a seminar on WordPress and a job fair for its students. This event aimed to provide attendees with valuable information and insights on WordPress, as well as exciting opportunities related to their career development, job search, and networking.

Mr. Muhammad Adnan, an alumnus of Virtual University’s Sialkot campus, was invited as a guest speaker. He is the visionary founder of the prestigious software house, WP Brigade. While delivering his lecture, he shared his inspiring two-decade journey, recounting the challenges, achievements, and the power of determination that led him to his current position despite limited resources. His journey deeply resonated with our students, emphasizing the importance of dedication and commitment to one has chosen path. He also introduced WordPress, highlighting its significance in modern web development.

The Co-founder of WP Brigade, Mr. Muhammad Irfan, senior developer’s team, and HR representatives were also present at this event. WP Brigade announced exciting job and internship opportunities for our students. They also conducted on-the-spot interviews and short-listed a few candidates for further consideration.

Virtual University – Sialkot Campus is also planning to launch a comprehensive hands-on training program for WordPress in collaboration with the WP Brigade Team in the near future. This initiative will provide students with a holistic understanding, starting from the basics and leading to promising career prospects.
