Karachi, The Virtual University of Pakistan has announced the issuance of Societies and Sports Fund vouchers, valued at Rs. 500, for all local students enrolled in the Fall 2023 semester. The initiative aims to encourage participation in extracurricular activities, enhancing the overall educational experience of students.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, the voucher distribution is part of the university’s effort to support and promote student engagement in societies and sports activities. The vouchers, with a due date of February 20, 2024, are designed to facilitate students’ involvement in various university-affiliated clubs and sports teams.

This financial support underscores the Virtual University’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded educational environment, where students are encouraged not only to excel academically but also to participate in activities that contribute to their personal development and physical well-being.

The distribution of Societies and Sports Fund vouchers reflects the university’s recognition of the importance of extracurricular activities in the holistic development of students. Jamshoro, The University of Sindh has released the schedule for submission of examination forms and fees for the second semester of various degree programs at private colleges affiliated with the university. This announcement pertains to both regular and graduate candidates enrolled in these programs.



According to University of Sindh, the moderator of the semester examinations, Muhammad Mashuq Siddiqui, has detailed the submission process for the upcoming exams. This schedule is applicable to students enrolled in the 4-year BSIT, BS Software Engineering, and BCIT programs across different parts of the curriculum, including Part I, II, III, and IV for BSIT and BS Software Engineering, and Part I, II, and III for BCIT.



The last date for submitting examination forms without a late fee has been set as February 8, 2024. However, students will have the option to submit their forms with a late fee of Rs.5000 from February 9 to February 16, 2024. This allows for a window of flexibility for those who may not meet the initial deadline.



The controller also informed that candidates from the regular and 2021 and 2022 batches are required to submit their examination forms online through their designated e-portal. In contrast, candidates from the 2020 or earlier batches will need to submit their forms manually. This distinction ensures that the process is tailored to accommodate students from different enrollment years, providing them with a streamlined method for form submission based on their batch.



This announcement is an essential update for students in private colleges affiliated with the University of Sindh, as it outlines the crucial timelines and procedures for their upcoming semester examinations.
