Islamabad, Virtual University of Pakistan has outlined a detailed procedure for students wishing to reschedule their missed or unplanned papers for the Fall 2023 mid-term examinations. The university has set specific rules and deadlines for this process.
According to Virtual University of Pakistan, The university has stipulated that students can only avail themselves of the reschedule option once. The fee for rescheduling is non-refundable, regardless of the student’s participation in the rescheduled exams. Furthermore, the fee vouchers for the rescheduled papers must be paid before the announcement of the Fall 2023 mid-term results. The last date for applying for rescheduling is Sunday, 31st December 2023, applicable to both local and overseas students.
The rescheduled examinations are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 2nd January 2024, for both local and overseas students. To initiate the rescheduling process, students are required to log in to the Virtual University Learning Management System (VULMS). The procedure involves selecting the preferred city of appearance from a drop-down list, with overseas students being instructed to select “Overseas” as their preferred city. Once the request is processed, students will receive a confirmation email to their VU email address, and the university requires a processing time of 24-48 hours.
Students are advised to check their inbox, spam, or junk email folders for the confirmation email from [email protected]. After confirmation, the schedule for the rescheduled papers will be updated on the students’ exam entrance slip, and they are required to take a fresh printout of this slip from the university’s official datesheet portal.
