Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob participated in National Dialogue on Agricultural Research at Islamabad

Bahawalpur, May 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur participated and addressed the National Dialogue on Agricultural Research organized by National Agriculture Research Council in Islamabad yesterday. The objective of this dialogue is to increase the agricultural potential of Pakistan so that the country’s economy gets a boost. On this occasion, experts expressed their views on food and nutritional security and future trends in the meeting chaired by Federal Minister of Education and Vocational Training Rana Tanveer Hussain. In his address, Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mehboob, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur said that social and economic development of the country is centered on the innovation and development and expansion of the agriculture sector and achieving food security.

Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies of Islamia University Bahawalpur is working for the conservation and survival of indigenous flora and fauna of Cholistan.
