UVAS Sets Comprehensive Orientation Day for New Undergraduates at Lahore Main Campus

Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) has scheduled a detailed orientation program for incoming undergraduate students on September 18, 2024, at its main campus in Lahore. The event, starting at 09:30 a.m., is designed to introduce new students to campus life, faculty, and various university services, aiming to facilitate a smooth transition into their academic programs.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the orientation will feature a series of talks by key university officials, including the Vice Chancellor, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Rana. Students will hear from deans, the hostel warden, the director of IT, and other important figures, each providing insights into their respective areas of responsibility. Activities planned for the day include a recitation, the national anthem, and addresses by both students and faculty, with the event being coordinated by Dr. Muhammad Ali Hamza and Dr. Sadia Nawaz.

The orientation will conclude with a campus tour, after which regular classes will commence. This event is crucial for students enrolled in diverse degree programs ranging from Biochemistry to Computer Science and Veterinary Medicine, offering them a foundation for their educational journey at UVAS.
