Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, recently organized two significant ceremonies at its City Campus: the blazer distribution for proctors and the oath-taking ceremony for the Scout Club’s new office-bearers. These events mark important traditions at the university, recognizing the roles and responsibilities of students in various capacities.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the blazer distribution ceremony, conducted by the Senior Tutor office, was held for the Proctors of the Academic Session 2023-2024. In the first phase, 100 proctors received blazers symbolizing their role and responsibilities. The Vice-Chancellor of UVAS, Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmed, administered the oath to the proctors in a ceremony attended by faculty members including Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Prof Dr Ali Raza Awan, and numerous students.
In a separate event, the UVAS Scout Club also held its oath-taking ceremony. Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmad presided over this ceremony as well, administering the oath to the new office-bearers of the Scout Club. The ceremony was a testament to the university’s commitment to student engagement and leadership development.
Both ceremonies highlighted UVAS’s dedication to fostering a sense of duty and commitment among its students, preparing them for future roles in their professional and personal lives.
