Jamshoro: The University of Sindh Jamshoro, along with all its campuses, will be closed on September 17, 2024, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. Essential personnel, however, will continue their duties.
According to University of Sindh, Registrar Professor Dr. Mushtaq Ali Jariko has issued a notification stating that the closure aligns with the national recognition of the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal as a public holiday. This observance is a significant religious event celebrated across the Islamic world, marking the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary.
