University of Peloponnese Announces Master Program in Olympic Studies

Sparti, The University of Peloponnese, in a collaborative effort with the International Olympic Academy, has announced the Master’s Degree Program in Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organization and Management of Olympic Events for the academic year 2024-2025. This program, hosted by the Department of Sports Organization and Management at the Faculty of Human Movement and Quality of Life Sciences, is designed to offer comprehensive training and education in the field of Olympic studies.

According to Pakistan Olympic Association, the program spans three semesters, with the first two conducted in Greece and the final semester dedicated to master’s thesis preparation at the student’s location. The total tuition fee is set at 5,000 Euros, payable in three installments. Additionally, full boarding at the International Olympic Academy premises is available for 3,500 Euros for both semesters.

Olympic Solidarity is providing a limited number of scholarships to cover tuition fees, with potential contributions towards travel and lodging expenses under exceptional circumstances. Priority for these scholarships will be given to National Olympic Committees (NOCs) with the greatest needs and those who have not previously received scholarships for this program.

The call for nominations is open to individuals with a bachelor’s degree interested in advancing their knowledge and expertise in Olympic education and event management. Required application materials include academic transcripts, a CV, language certificates, recommendation letters, and copies of any published works, among others. All documents from foreign authorities must be appropriately certified.
